About the Author
Zain
Sheikh completed his LL.B. from the S.M. Law College. Thereafter
he completed a course of study leading to the award of a master's
degree in law (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and
Political Science. His areas of specilization included Industrial
and Intellectual Property Laws and Aviation Law. Mr. Sheikh enrolled
as an advocate in 1979 and after ten years of experience in his
chosen fields of law with law firms in Pakistan and the USA, established
the law firm of Zain Sheikh and Associates.
Since
1985 Zain Sheikh has taught comparative Constitutional law and Jurisprudence
at his Alma mater the S.M. Law College and at present is the senior
professor at the institution.
Mr.
Sheikh has also developed a computer program on constitutional law
that provides the user with synopses on constitutional cases. Access
to cases is by Citation, Article of the Constitution and by the
name of the case. The program also has a search engine that scans
the database for keywords and provides the user with the case list
and the main points of relevant cases on the subject.
